What you can expect

This 5-hour Private Tour explores origins of the Impressionist movement. Start at the Orsay Museum where you will enter directly into its main collection of artwork by the likes of Monet and Cezanne. Then head to the Montmartre area and experience the surrounding that is the background of the impressionist's lives. The tour includes private transport between the two locations.

This private tour will connect the artwork at Musée d’Orsay with the area that was home to most of its artists, Montmartre. Step back into time to the 19th century, when Paris was living the Belle Epoque, when cancan dancers kicked high, and when artists enjoyed absinthe in cafés. Explore the cobbled streets stretching between the Moulin Rouge and the Sacré Coeur basilica, considered to be the home of the art movement known as Impressionism.

After the museum, step back into time to the 19th century, when Paris was living the Belle Epoque, when cancan dancers kicked high, and when artists enjoyed absinthe in cafés. We’re more than just storytellers. Our young, passionate, and engaging guides approach touring in a different way. They will bring a personal touch to each tour, adding their own favourite anecdotes and tips along the way. They are there to listen to you, to answer your questions, and to create a dialogue – unlike other tours where they just lecture you as you go along. That’s the whole reason why we specialise in private and semi-private tours exclusively, to make sure you get the most possible out of your experience.
